Eliot Brown at the New York Observer reports that the proposed rezoning of the Broadway Triangle has begun the seven-month public approval process. The “long list” of projects announced by City Planning Monday does not include the former Domino Sugar Factory, meaning the final vote on that project is not likely to happen until after Williamsburg gets a new City Council representative. (One more reason to come to the debate tonight.) And if you’re curious about another possible hold-up with regard to Domino, pick up a copy of the WG this week.
