RA RA RASPUTIN at Le Gamin Café: A Dinner and Celebration of the Life and Times of Russia’s Greatest Love Machine!
Come help to celebrate the life and times of everyone’s favorite Siberian holy man and tsarist power broker, Grigory Yefimovich Rasputin. The occasion is the 99th anniversary of the Mad Monk’s notorious Yar Restaurant incident in Moscow, wherein a lewd and drunken Rasputin (or was it an impersonator?) exposed himself to the assembled haute bourgeoisie of Moscow, before being chased out by the fuzz.
Gaze into the crazed eyes of the Satyr of St. Petersburg, and tease the man from the myth with the guidance of The Center for Investigative Research.
A $30 prix fixe 3-course dinner features a full-on, homemade, 21 ingredient borscht fit for a tsar, plus 2 vodka toasts. Live musical interludes are provided by Brent Arnold, who’ll be rendering Russian folk tunes on the cello.
