Navigating Bushwick Open Studios, Day 2: a potluck, a slideshow, and a scavenger hunt

slideluckOn Saturday, everyone’s favorite slideshow-meets-potluck teams up with a scavenger hunt cooked up by Bushwick Daily. Just like last year, and the year before, Slideluck will supply the space, good vibes, and a spectacular slideshow of artwork; you bring the food.

The slideshow will be a Bushwick-Baltimore exchange; one half will feature 10 artists working in Bushwick – each paired with music by Bushwick musicians.The other 10 artists will be selected will be paired with Baltimore bands.

Join WFMU’s DJ Marty McSorley for surprises and musical guests; booze is in the evening’s mix, and an after-party at 1 Knickerbocker follows. Get your scavenger hunt started here, spend the day seeing everything you’ve got time for, and make your way to Sandbox Studio for the slideluck at 7pm. The list closes at 5pm Saturday, so RSPV here.

You can stay tuned to Radio Bushwick all weekend; they’re an official hub for BOS. We predict a mob scene, get there before the official start time of 8pm if you’re able.
