  • This is one Brooklyn warehouse that will not be demolished. At 79 Quay Street in Brooklyn — about a block from the waterfront — Cayuga Management decided not to demolish the existing structure on the site, but will instead build townhouses formed from the warehouse.
  • In other gigantic amounts of money development news: a developer is shelling out $36 million for a warehouse in Eastern Bushwicksburg.

On Tuesday, April 1st, 2014, the NYC Council Subcommittee on Zoning and Franchises will be holding a PUBLIC HEARING on the Domino Sugar redevelopment proposal by Two Trees Management. El Puente, alongside a coalition of fellow community organizations has been following the project’s progression and, at every turn, advocating for community benefits. We want to make sure the community gets the best deal possible!
